The Barn is my go-to place in Workington. I have no regrets! Staff helped with bags on my first stay, which was great. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, an electric kettle, and I love the cycling, fishing. No pets or smoking – perfect for my city trip!

The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it difficult to get out of them in the morning. The shower was sensational and spacious, providing a refreshing experience. The location offered a picturesque view, and the opportunity to watch farm animals from the window was a delight.
It would have been helpful to have basic utensils and supplies in the kitchen, as well as a coat hanger. the lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and curtains for the front door/patio doors was a downside.

I stayed at a 4-star property with free WiFi. I benefitted from having WiFi and private parking. I could engage in activities like golfing, fishing, and cycling. Garden landmarks were nearby.
As if not having shower gel, lotion, or smart TV options wasn't enough, there were only basic utensils and supplies in the kitchen. Oh, and no coat hanger.

We got great value for our money at The Barn. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was perfect for exploring the western lake district, and the staff treated us very well.
The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

Had a blast playing golf, fishing, and cycling in the area. The property had free WiFi, and I loved the privacy of only sharing with my party. Plus, the microwave and dining area were great!
Oh, how I missed having a coat hanger! Life without it is just so much more exciting.

The Barn at Workington was an absolute dream! The room was cozy and charming, giving me the feeling of being right in the heart of nature. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the sight of the beautiful countryside. It was the perfect escape for someone like me who craves a direct connection with nature.
The only thing I didn't love about The Barn was that there was only one bathroom with a shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference and I'm sure others won't mind it at all.

Who needs coat hangers or shower gel? Just 82-year-olds with stiff joints.

The room at The Barn was cozy and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. The bathroom, fitted with a bath or shower, allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found having only one bathroom with a shower to be a bit inconvenient. However, I understand that others may still find it perfectly adequate for their needs.
